Centre logoAt The Oracle, we’re proud to be part of something bigger. As a Hammerson-operated destination, we’re working towards a future that puts people and the planet first — one where shopping, dining and spending time together can leave a positive impact.
The goal? To be Net Positive by 2030 – giving back more than we take when it comes to carbon, water, resources and local communities.

Surrounded by the beauty of the River Kennet, we’re reminded every day just how important it is to look after our environment. We’re proud to call this vibrant, riverside spot home — and we’re committed to protecting the nature around us while creating a more sustainable destination for everyone.
Our electric vehicle charging points generated 120.6 kWh of energy – saving 67.54kg of CO₂ and powering the equivalent of 40 electric vehicle miles.
We’ve reduced our water use by 20,325m³ – the equivalent of 406,500 showers.
It’s a big step towards operating more responsibly, day in, day out.
We’re proud to have recycled 97% of our waste – that’s 1,451 tonnes, or the same weight as 97 double-decker buses.
We’re constantly evolving the way we run The Oracle – keeping sustainability at the heart of every decision.
Here’s what we’re working on:
Because being a better neighbour to nature is something we take seriously — and at The Oracle, we’re making sure the river, wildlife and community around us can thrive for years to come.
