Shopmobility

If you or a member of your family has mobility problems why not take advantage of our Shopmobility service. We have scooters, wheelchairs and powerchairs available for use within The Oracle and Reading City Centre.

Use of the Shopmobility service is not restricted to The Oracle, so you can explore the town centre during your visit. The Oracle is designed to be accessible and user friendly for all our visitors, no matter what their needs may be.

The Shopmobility service is available 7 days a week.

Shopmobility Opening Hours:
Monday to Saturday 10.00am – 5.00pm

The Shopmobility facilities are available on Sunday during trading hours (11.00am - 5.00pm). Please use the yellow help phone outside the Shopmobility entrance and a member of staff will come and assist you.

If you haven’t used Shopmobility at The Oracle before, then we will ask you to register with us on your first visit. We will need to see 2 forms of identification such as a driving licence, passport etc.

Advance booking for scooters, wheelchairs and powerchairs is advisable by emailing us at Shopmobility@TheOracle.com. Simply let us know your name, what date you would like to come in and at what time and we’ll reserve a scooter for you. Alternatively you can call us on 0118 965 9008.

Radar keys can also be purchased at Shopmobility and at the Information Desk.
Shopmobility is located in the Holy Brook car park on level 1.

Parking Pleasure
Dedicated spaces for Shopmobility users can be found on level 1 of the Holybrook car park. Lifts in the malls and the car parks are voice synthesised to announce doors opening and closing, and to tell you which level you are on.
