History
From 1996-1998, a team of up to 50 archaeologists worked on the archaeological excavations on the site of The Oracle development. All of the work was funded by Hammerson plc, and was carried out by the Oxford Archaeological unit.
This carved stone corbel was re-used in the 17th century Yield Hall, but dates back to the 12th century. It was taken from the ruins of Reading Abbey
