The Oracle features a range of innovative pieces of public art, designed to enhance the overall appearance of the development and create a lasting impression in the minds of visitors. Hammerson plc, developer of The Oracle, have worked in partnership with Reading Borough Council to select eight of the country's leading artists and designers to put together innovative and creative ideas for the projects. Hammerson committed £1.25 million towards the cost of building a selection of projects and The Oracle has been awarded the first ever Arts Council lottery grant to a commercial venture, for a range of other art projects, to the tune of £562,000.
